Le Répit de Notre-Dame is much more than a place of hospitality: it is a committed project dedicated to inclusion, professional integration, and sharing.

As an Adapted Enterprise, we use employment as a genuine lever for professional integration for people with sensory or intellectual disabilities. Within a supportive and adapted working environment, and with a dedicated team by their side, each employee can develop their skills, gain autonomy, and build their professional future.

Le Répit de Notre-Dame is a project developed by IRSAM Association, an organization that has been supporting people with sensory disabilities for nearly 170 years.

The Association’s history began in the 19th century under the leadership of Abbé Dassy, its founder. Supported by the religious congregation of the Sisters of the Immaculate Mary, which he established alongside Sister Marie Bouffier, he developed an educational and social mission aimed at promoting the autonomy and personal fulfilment of people with disabilities.

Faithful to this heritage, IRSAM Association continues its mission today through numerous facilities across the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Corsica, Réunion Island, and Mayotte.

Le Répit de Notre-Dame is fully rooted in this history. Its existence was made possible thanks to the donation of this building by the Sisters, allowing the site to be given a new purpose and placed at the service of a project centred on inclusion and sharing.

Through its connection to IRSAM Association, Le Répit de Notre-Dame embodies the values of the Association’s CAP ASSO Project:

• Inclusion, enabling everyone to find their place and participate fully in professional and social life;
• Sharing, through encounters, mutual support, and the transmission of skills and knowledge;
• Respect for the individual, their personal journey, and their aspirations;
• Autonomy, by encouraging the development of self-determination.

Convinced that every person has talents to reveal, we support our employees throughout their professional journey, helping them build opportunities for growth and long-term success.

Le Répit de Notre-Dame is therefore a true stepping stone towards employment and inclusion, where differences become strengths and where everyone can flourish, progress, and contribute fully to community life.

Our team consists of six employees with sensory or intellectual disabilities, supported by a Site Manager, a Restaurant Manager, and a Head Chef.
